Het werk van Ruben Patiño alias Pato (1979 / Barcelona) is een mix van energieke algoritmische composities en abstracte visualisaties met een humoristische inslag. Zijn gecomponeerde dj sets bestaan hoofdzakelijk uit versneden computer muziek gemengd met oude avant-gardistische klassiekers, ruis en wereld muziek.

Computer muziekgroep Evol produceert vanaf hun start in 1996 “computer muziek voor hooligans” waarmee zij een muzikale vorm aangeven waarbij structurele ideeën geïnspireerd door geometrie en hints van de kwantum theorie in aanvaring komen met de rave-cultuur.

MoHa! Oorspronkelijk opgericht als typisch drum/gitaar duo heeft sinds haar ontstaan steeds meer de elektronische mogelijkheden omarmt. Hun muziek is een krachtige mix van hoog energieke improvisaties, trage drone riedels en elektronica.

Rubén Patiño aka Pato (1979 / Barcelona) works in the field of Computer Music combining different sound synthesis techniques generated with Pure Data and Super Collider. His work is a blend of hyper energetic algorithmic composition, futile visualization and humorous stochastic flavour.

Computer music group Evol started in 1996. Since the late nineties, they have been producing what they call “computer music for hooligans”, giving birth to musical forms built upon a collision of structural ideas inspired by fractal geometry, glimpses of quantum theory and rave culture.

MoHa! Originally formed as a typical drum/guitar duo, the band has recently enriched their gear to embrace more electronic devices: take an avalanche of drum parts, hints of power electronics, and pure data activism.

At Audioscoop musicians and sound art artists are invited to explore the boundaries of sound. The attention is focused at music that because of its experimental content not easily will be heard in a regular concert hall.
