Timeless laconic piano-pop / neo-classical
KOSCHKA is described as a tightrope walker, singing folk tunes with a loop station, marrying a fragile song to the distortion of her keyboard, a timeless and timely blend of laconic piano pop. Raised in Poland/Germany and based in Berlin (DE), KOSCHKA started out in 2012 as the solo project of singer and performer Edita Karkoschka. On the basis of the act and the absorption of music in experimental collaborations, she performed with live-cinema artist Krista Burger (NL) as ‚Koschka & Heimprofi’ in several European countries. Amongst others at the ‚Biennale Gelderland‘ in Nijmegen (NL) and as a support act for Son Lux (US).
