Core Shift (Mike Kramer)

MaasX - Shut up and Vote!

Tuesday 20 March 2018 / 20:30 / Intro, Maastricht

On the 20th of March there will be a big party at the Muziekgieterij  called: “Maas X – Shut up and Vote”

The whole evening will be filled with different musical acts and of course the possibility to vote for the local elections (from 24:00 onwards) and carry on partying afterwards.

Core Shift (=Mike Kramer) will be representing Intro during this evening.

Core Shift plays Ambient/Techno spiced with Experimental Electronics. The music is characterised by it’s use of layered sounds which are both intense and subtle; the listener is carried along in a sonic space similar to the sea, where Core Shifts sound can be compared to currents that blend and alter. Added pulsating rhythms complete the sound to be described as ‘Dance for the mind’.

Core Shift is Mike Kramer is a sound and recording artist. His work invites listeners to get intimate with the sounds presented, using Field Recordings combined with electronic composition as a working method. Mike also produces more noisy Ambient/Techno as CS², creates Sound Installations and is known for being the initiator and artistic director of (h)ear – experimental audio research.

You are welcome at Intro at 20:30 as always and are also invited to stay after the concert to check out all the other events during this special evening and of course to cast your vote in the local election!
