Free Music Improvisation

The workshop is hosted by Federico Corsini, improviser, musician and composer.
Musically formed at the “Luca Marenzio” Music Conservatory in Brescia (IT) and in the Conservatorium Van Maastricht (NL) now he’s attending the Master Program in Music Performance at the RMC Music Conservatory in Copenhagen (DK).
He’s the founder and member of the band Aligaga and have several years of experiences in improvising art and communication.

WHY FREE IMPROVISATION?
Because free improvisation is music related to the unconscious and the unknown. It’s like something that we all know but we can not put into words. Improvised art is living in the present, it makes us aware of be here and now. Improvised music demand an high level of interaction and communication between the musicians, the public and the spaces. Free improvised music and art make us more sensitive towards the differences, the opposites and the paradoxes. Make us feel part of the same soundscape, every sounds and silences are important, meaningful and have the right be be express and be listen.
The workshop it’s about free and improvised music. Music like liberating art. Do it, escaping the boundaries of expectations, common senses and fears. Elevate your spirit and soul towards the unity of be one self, inhabitants of the universe and free creatures.
The idea is to play music together, and focus their attention on the ethics of music, on the free improvised music, on the artistical and spiritual parts of the sounds and vibrations. The participants with express their self with little games of music, colors, forms and shapes.
Everybody is welcome! No specific level is required, everyone that loves music and can play a single note on an instrument, sing, or clap their belly is welcome.
